aboard the X-6 placed first in
Novice class with slow track
speed 2.10:39 with challenger
showing trailing times o[ 2.14
and 2.15.
Best time [or the new team o[
the X-6 and Morton was Sept. 9
with a screaminl; 2.07, proceeded
Dy a 2.09 on Sept. 2nd. With only
seven weeks o[ racing left at
Ascot Park, Morton [eels that he
can break even the best o[ records as both he and the X-6
begin to peak.
Morton, tf254r in his first
year o[ professional racing, is
now listed in the top ten o[ Novice class on the West Coast. The
