Suzuki of Haruo Koshino, California Suzuki riders loped to four
consecutive class victori es in
the inaugural road races held at
Riverside International Raceway
Sunday, May 22, 1966. It was a
sample of days to come.
K osiiino, Suzuki's America-
based test rider, plucked the
50cc Win, then the 125cc grand
prix class, with horsepower to
spare . Then he went on to cap
the day with the 250cc grand
prix victory, still using only
125cc, and still with beautiful
ease. The 125cc is being used
for development of ideas that
have already made Suzuki the
two-stroke leader.
Well, after that it only remained
for Tony Nicosia of Azusa, California to come along and win the
coveted 250cc production race
trophy, on a fully equipped Suzuki
X -6 Hustler the same as your
dealer has for sale. How do you
turn the X - 6 into a road race
winner? Simple ••• just put a
number on it. Si x speed gearbox
its already got. Along with the
accelleration that shuts down
650cc bikes. And handling like
you won't believe until you try
it at your local dealer ilOW. Be
skeptical. Ask any two-stroke
expert. The Hustler awaits your
approval.
