Th is was in regard to th e Hilltoppers ' Na ti onal Har e & Hound fiasco. The 1st loop wasn't too bad if you like low level flyi ng-but that 2nd loop, s omebody had to be completely out of his mind. In my own personal opinio n. this loop didn 't separate the men from the boys-but t he idi ots from the men. Th er e were more rocks in that 62 mile loop then there were in last years whole 500-mil e Greenhom Enduro. And the biggest j oke was that they wanted you to rac e throu gh the stuff! But I have nobody to blame ot her tha n myself for riding thi s e vent. All I hope for is t hat in th e fut ure, all clubs, no matter who th ey ar e, us e a little co mmon sense in layin g out th eir runs. Take into co ns ide ration that t here ar e be ginners as well as ex pe rts . who hav e to cross ove r their trails , c li mb th eir mounta ins , and ride their roads .
