THE STREET RIDERS' DILEMMA
" What de you do when it rains? " is a
ques tion most of us hear when we first
appear among non-motorcycling friends on
our cycles. I am fairly certain the logical
answer was first spoken the day the thing
was invented by Gottfried Dai mler: You
leave it in the garage.
Since the day that Daiml er gave up
making mechanical horses and started to
make horseless carriages , it h as been
raining on motorcyclists more or less
steadily. And it rains the heaviest on
riders of th e road.
