Win Two at Prado 11
Jim Berry and Kirk McDowell
were dou ble winners Oct. 24 at the
Nomads' Prado Park TT Scr a m bles.
Berry won the 250cc expert and
21-inch amateur races, while McDowell - nearly invincible in the
lightest of the lightweight classesswept the 50cc and 100cc expert races.
On ly other ri der among the 209
entries to come close to a twin win
was Randy Say, runnerup in the
125_175cc amatuer-expert race and
again in the 250cc expert duel.
Jim Hunter won the best race of
the day, the 500cc expert moto. He
lost the fi rst event to Arville S pa r ks,
then nipped Sparks twice in a row to
win overall.
B ill Riley had an easier time of it
in the open expert, whipping C. H.
Wheat and Ron Bonner in 100-degree
plus temperature.
