Would Eli Tomac
continue where he left
off nearly three months
ago when he won the
Daytona Supercross?
The answer was a
definite, yes. On a
difficult sunbaked,
dry, hard-packed
and slick Utah track,
much like the track he
practices on at home
in Colorado, Tomac
rode brilliantly. After
getting off to a fourth-
place start, he passed
Justin Brayton, narrowly
escaped tragedy when
his teammate Adam
Cianciarulo crashed
in front of him, won a
mini duel with Cooper
Webb, before passing
holeshotter Blake
Baggett for the lead and
eventual win. Tomac
is going to be tough to
beat at the remaining
races, all to be held at
the same location.
