Jacko's Outback Quarantine
O
ld mate Jackson Strong
has hooked in with Monster
Energy to release a fair dinkum
gander at what life is like in the
Aussie outback during quaran-
tine. Crikey.
As we all know, every Australian
child rides a kangaroo to school
called Skippy, Jacko and Skip get
a mainline of vegemite and head
off into the bush to get some tuck-
er, namely wallabies and cocka-
toos as he tries to channel fellow
famous Queensland bogan, the
late Steve Irwin.
Finally, Jacko realizes he's got
Buckley's chance of a feed and
decides to go back to what he
does best, pulling mental moves
on a dirt bike to the cheers of
his XXXX beer drinkin' mates
(XXXX is named so because
Queenslanders can't spell beer)
while setting the bush alight
when trying to cook a bloody
chook in an Aussie camp oven.
Strewth, tell him he's dreaming.
He's clearly a few beers short of
a six pack.
But, it's all good, mate. She'll
be right. At least Jacko can ride
the nuts off a dirt bike (can you
tell this writer is Australian?). CN
Decotis Stepping Away From Racing
J
GRMX/Yoshimura Suzuki's Jimmy Decotis says he's
stepping away from racing to focus on health issues. De-
cotis has been battling Lyme disease for the past few years.
He announced on Instagram that he's putting racing
on hold indefinitely: "I wanted to update everyone and
let you know that I will not be racing the final leg of @
supercrosslive starting this weekend. The last 3 years I
have tried to compete at the highest level in the world
while battling my Lyme disease. I have tried everything
in my power to remain healthy while pushing my body
to the limits but unfortunately it has caused my health
to decline to a point where racing dirt bikes just isn't in
the cards for me at this time. I love this sport with all my
heart and I hope one day I can find some more answers
so I can go back to doing what I love with my team, spon-
sors and fans. I'm stepping away from racing for the time
being to focus solely on my health and to hopefully get
back to the person and racer I was once." CN
