Japan, Australia, British MotoGPs Canceled I n what is becoming a sadly familiar sight in 2020, the Japa- nese, Australian and British Mo- toGP races have been called off due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The British Grand Prix was set to take place August 28-30 at Silverstone, Japan's round was due to take place at the Twin Ring Motegi, October 16-18, while the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix was set to take place Phillip Island one week later, October 23-25. The cancelations cast fur- ther doubt on the validity of the already battered 2020 MotoGP World Championship, with races in Spain, France, Italy and Cata- lunya postponed with no new dates yet allocated. The MotoGP rounds in Germany, Finland and the Netherlands are already canceled. At this stage, MotoGP is hoping for a season-opening race in Austria, August 16, at the Red Bull Ring. CN IN THE WIND P32 We won't be seeing another classic race on the fast and flowing Phillip Island circuit this year.
