MV Agusta Rush 1000 Set For
June Production
T
he wild MV Agusta Rush
1000 is set to begin produc-
tion in June, as the factory gears
back up following the Covid-19
outbreak.
The Rush 1000 will be lim-
ited to 300 units worldwide and
packs a 208-horsepower four-
cylinder motor that increases to
212 horsepower with the racing
exhaust kit. This is MV Agusta's
extreme naked bike, if one can
be considered so given the
Brutale 1000 is considered the
fastest naked bike in the world
with a claimed 212 horsepower
before extra go-fast parts are
added.
The Rush gets Ohlins Smart
EC suspension, eight-level trac-
tion control, Brembo Stylema
calipers and the Bosch 9 Plus
Race ABS system.
The optional Rush Racing Kit
is composed of a lightweight
titanium dual exhaust system
with a dedicated carbon fiber
cover with billet CNC-machined
inserts, as well a new ECU with
a specifically developed engine
control system map to increase
power.
"With the production of the
Rush 1000 starting this coming
June, we are right on track with
respect to our five-year industrial
plan announced a few weeks
ago," said Timur Sardarov, CEO
of MV Agusta Motors. CN
