IN THE WIND P38 Las Vegas WORCS Officially Canceled T he World Off-Road Championship (WORCS) announced that the Las Ve- gas (June 12-14) round scheduled to take place in June at the Orleans Arena has been officially canceled. Instead, the race will now take place at Lake Havasu on the same date. A release from WORCS said: With no guarantee the arena will be open in June and the restrictions that would have to be set in place if it does open would make it difficult for us to hold the event. WORCS feels that relocating this round to Lake Havasu will be best for racers to get back to racing. This will also enable WORCS to still put on a full Champion- ship Series season with enough rounds. We look forward to heading back to The Orleans in 2021! CN The Las Vegas round of the 2020 WORCS Championship will now take place at Lake Havasu on the same June 12-14 date. Sprint Enduro Start Delayed T he 2020 Kenda Full Gas Sprint Enduro Series, which was scheduled to get underway May 23-24, has been postponed. The opening round is now scheduled to take place at Hidden Valley Golf Course in Glen Daniel, West Vir- ginia, July 18-19. As a result, the champi- onship will be reduced to six rounds. "We feel confident that by July the picture will be much clearer in regard to hosting races in a post-Covid-19 envi- ronment and we will be able to have fun and safe remainder of our season," said series founder Jason Hooper.
