The motocross world is mourning
the loss of three-time AMA National
MX Champion and AMA Hall of
Famer Marty Smith. Smith, who
won the inaugural AMA 125cc MX
Championship in 1974 (when it was
considered the premier class) was one
of the first super-heroes of the sport,
and without question, made it even
cooler to be a motocrosser.
