Vinales Wins Round Three
of Virtual MotoGP
Maverick Vinales slid his
way around the virtual
Jerez GP track for the win.

onster Energy's Maverick Vinales
won the third round of the 2020
Virtual MotoGP Championship at
Jerez, (yes, this is now a thing), after
capitalizing on late crashes by Pramac
Racing's Francesco Bagnaia and Rep-
sol Honda's Alex Marquez.
The event is in aid of the official
charity of MotoGP, Two Wheels for
Life, raising funds for their campaign to
fight Covid-19. The event also saw rac-
ing in the Moto2 and Moto3 classes,
with Lorenzo Baldassarri (Kalex) taking
the Moto2 win and Gabriel Rodrigo
coming out on top in Moto3. CN
