Bagnaia Takes
Second Virtual
MotoGP Race
T
he second MotoGP race of the
year went to first-time winner
Pecco Bagnaia after making a last-lap
pass on Maverick Vinales at the Red
Bull Ring in Austria. The only thing is,
there was no race. At least not in real
life, anyway.
The MotoGP boys reconvened in the
comfort of their own homes to once again
play PlayStation 4, this time joined by nine-
time World Champion Valentino Rossi.
In a chaotic race that saw almost half
the field wiped out in a first corner crash
(but thanks to the magic of virtual reality al-
lowing them all to restart), Takaaki Nakaga-
mi took the early lead, but was passed by
the end of lap one by Bagnaia and Vinales.
Nakagami then ran straight into the back
of Marc Marquez, before taking out Alex
Marquez with another bonehead move the
following lap. Alex Marquez would recover
the lost ground to take third, with the top
five rounded out by Marc Marquez and
Fabio Quartararo. CN
Pecco Bagnaia
(middle, left) took
the second virtual
MotoGP race win.

(WORCS) released its latest sched-
ule with round three tentatively planned

From WORCS: The following infor-

subject to change at any time. While
we are trying to get racing as soon
as we possibly can, we want to do so
in a safe manner for all. If we cannot
race until after summer, our final rounds
will likely become double rounds as to
be able to provide racers with the op-
portunity to still chase a series and be
competitive for a championship. CN
