IN THE WIND P28 Indian Delivers To Your Door I ndian Motorcycle has released details of a new consumer program called Click.Deliver.Ride. In the same guise as automotive online sales like Carvarna.com, Click. Deliver.Ride is a response to the fi- nancial crisis caused by Covid-19, and allows Indian Motorcycle customers to purchase a new motorcycle from their local dealer, fit the various custom parts they desire, and have the bike delivered to their house. "Over the last month, we've all had to adjust to a new way of life and have had to alter the ways in which we conduct our business," said Mike Dougherty, Indian Mo- torcycle President. "Our hope is that Click.Deliver.Ride. will help bring peace of mind to both our loyal customers and our network of dealers." Click.Deliver.Ride. is available for a limited time only at participating dealers based on applicable laws and is subject to change. CN Order an Indian Motorcycle from your phone. Cake Kalk INK SL First Look S wedish electric motorcycle gurus Cake has just taken the wraps off its fourth street-legal machine, the Kalk INK SL, taking their overall lineup to six different motorcycles. Utilizing the same 10kW motor, 2.6 kWh battery, 6061 aluminum chassis and swingarm as the Kalk OR, Kalk& and Kalk INK, the INK SL tips the scales at a lithe 169 pounds and can reach a top speed of 56 mph. According to Cake, the range of the INK SL extends to around three hours if you're out in the woods, where partial throttle is regularly applied. This should get you around 53 miles of range. If you're out on the streets, however, that expected range drops significantly. You can expect to see just 22 miles of range, while riding at about 45 mph. You'll get three riding modes—Explore for city riding, Excite for enduro off-roading and Excel for maximum torque and speed (but drastically reduced range). Compared to the Kalk INK, the SL runs inverted motocross suspension with the rear monoshock acting directly off the swing- arm rather than employing a linkage. The charging time from flat is quoted at 2.5 hours from a standard wall plug, with an MSRP of $10,500. CN Swedish brand Cake is making some big waves of late, with the Kalk INK SL their latest offering.
