Champion Sylvain Guintoli
has released a cool video that
shows the French ace tearing up
Donington Park in the UK on a
standard Suzuki GSX-R1000R.
Guintoli made the video to
show just how capable the ma-
chine is in the right hands, and
he even used the stock Bridges-
tone tires. In the end, his lap time
was just over 10 seconds from
the MotoGP lap record, held by Dani Pedrosa,
which is not bad at all for a stock road bike.
It makes for interesting viewing as the man who
has helped develop the GSX-RR MotoGP bike into
a winner shares his insights into the bike you and I
can buy for the street.

hile we're on the subject of
fast guys and standard bikes,
Scott Redding has also released a
video on his YouTube channel of him
riding a standard Ducati Panigale V4
S around the tight and twisty Valen-
cia circuit in Spain.
The current Ducati WorldSBK
rider knocked out an ultra-impres-
sive 1:34.5-second lap on the Pani-
gale, which was just 4.5 seconds
off Marc Marquez's pole time at the
2019 Valencia MotoGP. You can
