he second running of the Daytona Vintage Supercross ran its course, Wednes-
day, March 11, where hundreds of supercross/motocross fans of yesteryear
dusted off, or showed off their latest rebuilds, on the same course as the top su-
percross pros and amateurs competed on Saturday night through Tuesday. Of course,
the track was tamed down a bit for the aging and sometimes fragile dirt bikes, but the
racing was as modern as ever. Racing is racing, whether it's on new or old bikes.
