featured names like Hammaker,
Park, Rogers and Kessler.
In the 250 A class, Team
Green Kawasaki's Seth Ham-
maker grabbed the holeshot but
went down in the second turn,
handing the lead to Yamaha's
Colin Park, with Kawasaki's Jack
Rogers in second. Hammaker
was last when he got going and
started to charge right away,
gaining a lot of time by hitting the
wall jump wide open.
Park continued to hold a safe
lead over Rogers, while Ham-
maker, amazingly, worked the field,
making his way all the way up to
second by the end of the race,
passing Rogers with two laps to go.
The win was Park's first cham-
pionship.
