"I spent all day trying to get
around guys," said Delong. "I
got up in the top five there at
the beginning of the first lap and
crashed in the field, so I had to
pick myself up and charge again.
Just playing a little bit of catch-
up at the beginning of the race. I
think I kind of burned myself out a
little bit early. With two laps to go,
I was trying to find some extra en-

on the last lap and tried to push
and get away, but I didn't really
have it. The last couple of miles,

got it down to 20 seconds but just
didn't have it."
