he 2020 Daytona Supercross—
round 10 of the Monster Energy
AMA Supercross Series—could've
gone two ways for Monster Energy Ka-
wasaki's Eli Tomac: either Tomac wins,
and all is well in the world, or Tomac los-
es, and things are looking bleak. Tomac
had a pretty awful record when running
the red number plate before 2020, but
he won at Arlington with the red plate
two weeks before Daytona. Things were
looking up, but he had a horrible race
a week ago in Atlanta, and it left people
scratching their heads.
