TICKLE HURT
Just one week after his impressive
return to racing following a two-year
absence, JGR/Yoshimura Suzuki
Factory Racing's Broc Tickle had
an incident during the first main
event in Arlington and suffered a
suspected broken hand. He and an-
other rider collided with the rider's
rear wheel catching Tickle's hand
between the wheel and Tickle's
handlebar.

Continuing the sour luck for the
JGR/Yoshimura Suzuki Factory
Racing team, their star 250SX
racer, Jimmy Decotis, was forced
out of Arlington only one week after
a heroic performance in Tampa
with a fractured pelvis. Decotis was
yet another victim of the track's
dragon's back when his front wheel
missed the last whoop on the ob-
stacle, and he endoed into the face
of the triple. He got up under his
own power, but he hit his head, and
he and the team decided he should
sit the race out.
THE DRAGON'S BACK
At least three factory racers were
knocked out of the Arlington Super-
cross—and possibly future rounds
as well—by the dragon's back ob-
stacle that came up right before one
of the track's triples. First, there was
Jimmy Decotis and then Adam Cian-
ciarulo, both happening in practice/
qualifying. And then finally there was
defending 450SX champ Cooper
Webb. All three of them went down
in a very similar fashion when their
front wheels missed the last whoop
on the top of the obstacle, caus-
ing their front ends to dive into the
