Shirey's reward was a spot on the
podium.
"I need to go home and put
in the same amount of work the
guys who regularly run this series
do," said Shirey. "The sprint is
definitely something I need to
learn. I would do well in one
section and screw up the next. I
like this format because it really
shows who the fastest guy is on
that day."
Shirey finished approximately
four minutes and 30 seconds be-
hind Robert but was well clear of
the fourth-place finisher JT Baker.
Austin Serpa rounded out the
top five overall, finishing out the
Chance Fullerton
finished within a few
seconds of being in
the top five.
Austin Serpa
posted some
impressive
times en route
to fifth overall.
