Stewart struggled in the final few laps, getting
passed by his teammate Hill, Barcia, Wilson and Rock-
star Energy Husqvarna's Jason Anderson, but Stewart
got Anderson back in the last corner after shoving him
off the track to steal seventh place back at the finish.
Next to Tomac's, the ride of the night was turned in
by Monster Energy Yamaha's Barcia, who came from
outside the top 15 to grab fourth place. He snatched
the point from Hill on the last lap. Barcia's strong ride
was significant in that it keeps him in championship
contention.
The series heads to its second Triple Crown event of
the year in Arlington (Dallas), Texas next weekend.
250SX East
In the 250SX East series opener, McElrath qualified
second during the day and then grabbed the main-
event holeshot over Jordon Smith (Monster Energy/Pro
Circuit Kawasaki) and a trio of Geico Honda riders Jer-

Dean Wilson started midpack in the
Tampa main event and was in a ba le

finish of 2020. "The main event went
pre y good," Wilson said. "I think it
was a step in the right direc on. It's
been pre y tough coming back from
injury to a class that's so stacked, but
I've been pushing through, and it's nice
to see a half-decent result. I'm going to
use this for next weekend and build off
of it and keep it going."

8TH 450SX
In Tampa, Monster Energy Kawasaki's
Adam Cianciarulo qualified first for
the seventh week in a row, and he
was running second in the main event
when he went down in the whoops
and dropped back to eighth at the fin-
ish. "Man, I wanted that 1-2 Kawasaki
finish so bad," Cianciarulo said. "I felt
great all day long, and obviously, with
it being somewhat of a hometown
race for me, I wanted to put on a show
for my friends and family. Finishing
in eighth is a tough pill to swallow
because we had that podium finish in
our hands. My team and I have already
