points. "I felt like my riding was pre y
solid un l we got into some lappers,"
said Forkner. "And then I made a
slight mistake in the whoops when I
was jumping through them. Right be-
fore he got me, we were pre y much
matching each other every lap. And
even a er he got me, I kept it pre y
close, so I was happy with my speed,
and my fitness was good, but a er
he got me and I went off the track,
and then jumped back on, I could just
never get up close enough to show

"I was just like, 'Are you kid-
ding me right now?!'" Tomac said.
"Because I felt like I was being

Adam and Ken. We were just
riding along there. Once I got into

thing; I was just riding along.
Then I got to the lead, feeling
really good, and had a good flow
going, and I was picking my front
end up over that little knuckle in
the sand, and I picked it up too

Unfortunately for Roczen it
was too early, because Tomac
was back to his usual form, as he
started to cut into Roczen's lead.
And when Tomac smells blood,
it's usually a bad sign for whom-
ever is caught in Tomac's scent.
A handful of laps later, Tomac
used the whoops to get alongside
Roczen and push him wide in the
following turn to take the lead, but
that only lasted a few laps before
Tomac made an unforced error
and went over a berm, handing
the lead back to Roczen.
Adam Cianciarulo once again
showed he can be the fastest on
the track, but he hasn't been able
to convert that into a win.
