FEBRUARY 7, 1990
It was 30 years ago that 17-year-old Damon Bradshaw, who won the 125cc East
Supercross Championship the year before, won the Anaheim Supercross to start
off the 1990 AMA Camel Supercross Series. It was his first 250cc Supercross win
and he did it in front of more than 66,000 fans. Mike Craig won the 125cc West
main event… Ron Tichenor and Todd DeHoop were the top Pro riders at the
Florida Winter AMA MX Series round
at Ocala MX Park… Jeremy McGrath
and Micky Dymond won the Mickey
Thompson Off-Road Grand Prix
Series opener at Anaheim Stadium.

David Vuillemin proved that he was a legitimate title contender after
winning his second Supercross in a row, this one coming in Phoenix,
Arizona. Casey Lytle nabbed his first career Supercross win in the
125cc West class… Alan Cathcart revealed what it's like to ride Colin
Edwards' Castrol Honda RC45… Destry Abbott won the Desert M.C.
Hare & Hound, the first round of the championship series… Buddy
Antunez won the Baltimore rounds of the National Arenacross Series.
