led the points coming into Anaheim 2,
but he struggled all day in the whoops,
and in the main event, he con nued
to struggle on his way to his worst
finish of the year. "These whoops were
gnarly tonight, and there's just some-
thing we're missing with our setup for
these types of whoops," Barcia said. "It
was the same in Geneva [off-season
supercross race], and we thought we
had a be er handle on them than this,
but we don't. There are probably going
to be at least a couple more races with
whoops like this—San Diego, Oak-
land—so we're going to have to figure
something out. But I'm only three
points out of the championship lead
right now, and we'll just try to take the
lead back next week in Arizona."

Chad Reed (Mountain Motorsports/
cbdMD Honda) threw a few Nac-Nacs
for the crowd throughout the night in
his last race in Anaheim, including a
Nac-Nac over the finish line for win-
ning the LCQ to qualify for his 252nd
career 450SX main event. "The night
