Bolt Cleans Up In Spain
A
fter watching Taddy Blazu-
siak win all three main events
the round before in Germany, it
was Billy Bolt's turn to sweep the
evening show at the third round
of the FIM SuperEnduro Series
at the Coliseum da Coruna in
Spain, January 18. And with his
stellar performance, he took
the red plate away from Blazu-
siak (Red Bull KTM) as the new
championship points leader.
The young Brit was on his A-
game all evening. Bolt came out
swinging in the SuperPole with a
winning performance and went on
to top all three main events. The
Rockstar Energy Husqvarna Team
rider used precise throttle control
on the slick track, finding traction
when others couldn't and pro-
ceeded to ride away for the wins.
In the first race, Bolt quickly
placed himself directly behind
Blazusiak after the Pole took the
holeshot. From the second lap on-
wards, Bolt led the way in front of
Blazusiak and Jonny Walker (Red
Bull KTM), with the latter finally
seeming more comfortable and
confident. Walker finished in third.
Blazusiak tried hard but was
unable to hunt down Bolt and
had to settle for second behind
