Hartranft just held off Alex Martin (JGR/Yoshimura Suzuki Factory Racing) at the finish. Lawrence finished fifth despite the fall and pulling into the mechanics' area. Defending champion Dylan Ferrandis went down in the first rhythm section after the start when an error by Martin caused Michael Mosiman (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna) to careen into Ferrandis.
