Our final issue of the 1980s featured our 1990 buyer's guide and
interviews with Jeff Ward, Bubba Shobert, Jay Springsteen
and Scott Plessinger… We had coverage of the Paris Supercross
won by Rick Johnson. Back then the Paris Supercross ran
the races Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday. Race
winners included Johnson, Damon Bradshaw, Larry Ward and
Jeff Leisk… Larry Roeseler won the Tecate Enduro and Mark
Manniko topped the Schreiber Cup and El Trial de Espana… We
also had coverage of the Mexican Superbike International… We
tested the Honda's CR250R, Ducati's 851 and Kevin Schwantz'
Suzuki RGV500 Gamma XR75.
