machine has been seen publicly outside Europe. This will be a 2021 model and you can expect pricing to be around the $30,000 mark for Honda's premium super- bike offering. Long Beach also saw the U.S. debut of a new range of BMW motorcycles, including new F 900 R, S 900 XR and S 1000 XR, plus the prototype of the R18 cruiser that will be released in the second half of 2020. As for Suzuki, they presented the new Katana, Kawasaki showed off this issue's cover bikes in the new junior KLX range, and Aprilia took the covers off the delectable RS 660 for the first time in North America. Although no attendance figure has been released, the general consensus was an uptick in over- all attendance once doors were opened to the public, Friday after- noon through Sunday, November 22-24. The Thursday prior to media day at IMS saw the Motorcycle Industry Council hold an industry symposium, with a strong focus on getting more people into motorcy- cling. The assembled media and industry personnel heard views from new MIC CEO Erik Pritchard, and gave outgoing CEO, Tim Buche a fitting send off.
