OFF-ROAD ROCKY MOUNTAIN AT V-MC WORCS SERIES FINAL ROUND / NOVEMBER 24, 2019 BUFFALO BILL'S RESORT & CASINO / PRIMM, NEVADA P58 In Pro 2, Austin Walton scored his fifth consecutive victory and seventh of the season to clinch the championship in his first full season of WORCS competition. Austin Serpa finished second, followed by Mateo Oliveira. "I had some pretty good cush- ion coming into this race, but that really doesn't mean much when you can have a bike failure and that's the race, so I'm happy to come away with a win," said Wal- ton. "I got the last lap done, kept the bike together and clinched the championship. This is a team effort and my team was excellent this year. It's been an awesome season." Serpa earned his sixth podium of the season on his KTM and fin- ished second in points. Though he had a sizeable points lead at the halfway point of the season, several finishes off of the podium hampered Serpa's championship hopes. The runner-up effort put him second in final points. Tallon Lafountaine, who ran out of fuel late in the race, fell to third in the final title tally. It was an off-day for Robert, who already has the 2019 WORCS championship in his pocket. The KTM rider struggled through crashes to finish second on the day.
