T
he first time the United States of America won the FIM
World Trophy—the highest award in the International
Six Days Enduro (ISDE)—was 2016 in Spain at the 91st
edition of the oldest competition on the FIM calendar.
Perhaps there's something about the Iberian Peninsula,
because the U.S. World Trophy team comprised of Steward
Baylor, Taylor Robert, Kailub Russell and Ryan Sipes won
that prize at the 94th ISDE after trailing defending champion
Australia (Josh Green, Matty Phillips, Daniel "Chucky" Sand-
ers and Luke Styke) at the beginning of the week. By week's
end, the U.S. had a comfortable winning margin of one
