The new Dynamic Racing Concept (DRC)
road-racing brake pads by SBS include two
different pad compounds: DS-1 and DS-2.
DS-1 has a strong initial bite with a linear
friction curve, while DS-2 has a lower initial
bite with a progressive friction curve.
The two compounds can be combined by
using DS-1 in one caliper, and DS-2 in the
other, combining the benefits of both, and
creating a DS-1.5. This setup creates another
form of adjustability on a racing motorcycle
for an individual rider's brake preference.

The Metzeler Sportec M9 RR tires are the
successor to the supersport Sportec M7 RR
tires. They've been improved to better handle
unpredictable weather and road-surface
conditions. Metzeler R&D strived to optimize
them to work with a wide range of bikes, and
also to allow electronic rider-assistance systems
to function properly. Although primarily for the
street, they are made for the track, too. The
lineup of Sportec M9 RR tires includes three
fronts and nine rears.
