King of Paris
A
fter two nights of supercross
racing in Paris, France,
Monster Energy Yamaha's Justin
Barcia emerged as the King of
the Paris SX. Each day, the riders
competed in a Superpole followed
by two short races and a main
event. The results from all three
races on both nights counted to-
ward the overall results. Smartop/

Honda's Malcolm Stewart and Star
Racing Yamaha's Dylan Ferrandis
rounded out the overall podium.
On Saturday night, home
country hero Dylan Ferrandis
won the opening race ahead of
Joey Savatgy (competing in his
first race on the JGR Suzuki) and
Justin Barcia. Alex Martin and
Vince Friese rounded out the top
five. Malcolm Stewart won race
two ahead of Barcia and Geico
Honda's Martin. Friese and Fer-
randis rounded out the top five.
In the final, Barcia took the win
ahead of Savatgy, Justin Hill,
Friese and Stewart.
After combining the results,
Barcia took the Saturday over-
all win followed by Friese and
Savatgy.
On Sunday, Martin won the
opening race ahead of Justin Hill,
Stewart, Barcia and Savatgy. The
race-two win went to Stewart,
who made a late-race pass on
Barcia. Barcia held on for second
and was followed by Martin in
third. Ferrandis and Hill rounded
out the top five in race two. In
the final race on Sunday, Stew-
art again took the win. Ferrandis
finished second and Barcia was
third. Martin and Friese rounded
out the final moto top five.
Stewart was the Sunday overall
winner followed by Martin and
Barcia. For the combined overall,
Barcia came out on top for his
third time as the King of Paris SX.
Stewart and Ferrandis rounded
out the overall podium for the
weekend followed by Martin and
