Grant Baylor Tops Zink Ranch
National Enduro
T
he Tulsa Trail Riders celebrated the 25th an-
niversary of the 1994 U.S. ISDE by holding the
ninth round of the Kenda AMA National Enduro Se-
ries at the same site, on the Zink Ranch, in Sand
Springs, Oklahoma, October 20.
After 65 miles of racing and seven tests, Tely
Energy Racing's Grant Baylor came away with his
fifth win of the season, beating out his brother,
Steward, by 13 seconds.
Grant's win was a bit controversial since it pre-
vented Steward from
wrapping up the series
title a race early, however, Steward can get the
job done easily enough at the series finale by just
finishing in the top 15.
Grant won only two of the seven tests, compared
to three test wins by Steward, but Grant's con-
sistency in the remaining five tests gave him, the
younger of the two brothers, the win.
