Kawasaki ZH2 Silhouette Revealed T he drip-feed of videos from Kawasaki on the upcoming ZH2 has reached a crescendo with the third installment in the series, this one showing us the shape of the bike, and the name. We long assumed this was going to be a na- ked bike, and now we know. The ZH2 will thus be the fourth machine in Kawasaki's "hypers- port" series behind the base H2, race-spec H2 R and the H2 SX. No word yet on if it will run the 900cc motor from the Z900, or if we'll see the donor motor come from the 1000cc Ninja 1000SX. We'll find out October 23… CN IN THE WIND P36 Anderson To Sit Out Monster Energy Cup J ason Anderson says he's going to sit out this week- end's Monster Energy Cup in Las Vegas (October 19). Hav- ing recently spent many days in Europe focusing on the Moto- cross of Nations and prepping for last weekend's Red Bull Straight Rhythm, Anderson says he needs a break. The Rockstar Energy Husqvar- na Team rider posted on Insta- gram: …Everyone knows that after the last Outdoor National Zach and I went to Europe for a month to train for the MXON and our Country. My plan was to come back and do the Red Bull Straight Rhythm first. Truth is after only two days on the bike after riding in deep sand for a month I just didn't feel comfortable and choose to not race. I apologize to all my fans who showed up to see me ride but switching to a 2-stroke after riding a 4-stroke is harder than what you think it might be. Because I've been going wide open and not having much time to prepare, not to mention I haven't had any off-season pre- paring for all these events, the team and I feel it is in my best interest that I not race the Mon- ster Cup. I wish I could have been able to race and apologize to all my fans who were hoping to see me race at these events. Right now I need to let my body rest and get ready for the long season we have coming up for SX and MX. Want to thank my team and my mechanic C-Low for all the support and hard work they put in all the time. CN Jason Anderson says he's going to skip the Monster Energy Cup.
