Anderson fought his way from near dead last up
clear of the second-place rider,
Holland's Calvin Vlaanderen. "I
didn't expect to come out first, and
from that outside gate, that was
good. This track is really tough, but
we will make some changes and
come out tomorrow."

QUALIFIER
Belgium went into Sunday's races
as the team to beat after topping
Saturday's qualifying. The team
made up of Kevin Strijbos, Jeremy
Van Horebeek and Jago Geerts,
managed just five points (low being
good). The team edged out The
Netherlands team, with Team USA
finishing right there in third. Class
winners were Team Switzerland's
Jeremy Seewer (MXGP), Justin
Cooper (MX2) and Team Latvia's
Pauls Jonass (Open).
