MOTOGP FIM MOTOGP WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP P108 ROUND 16 / SEPTEMBER 22, 2019 MOTORL AND ARAGON / ARAGON, SPAIN McPhee (126) and Ramirez (123). CN MotoGP 1. Marc Marquez (Hon) 2. Andrea Dovizioso (Duc) 3. Jack Miller (Duc) 4. Maverick Vinales (Yam) 5. Fabio Quartararo (Yam) Moto2 1. Brad Binder (KTM) 2. Jorge Navarro (S-U) 3. Alex Marquez (Kal) 4. Luca Marini (Kal) 5. Sam Lowes (Kal) Moto3 1. Aron Canet (KTM) 2. Ai Ogura (Hon) 3. Dennis Foggia (KTM) 4. John McPhee (Hon) 5. Alonso Lopez (Hon) By the end, a group that had been 15 strong had broken up, but there were still eight riders swap- ping paint. Second to eight was covered by 1.6 seconds, positions changing constantly. Ogura had most of the front time but had to fight to regain second from Dennis Foggia (SKY VR46 KTM) on the final lap. John McPhee (Petronas Honda) clung on to fourth, ahead of Alonso Lopez (EG Honda), Misano winner Tatsuki Suzuki (SIC58 Honda), Sergio Garcia (EG Honda), Albert Arenas (Gaviola KTM) and Gabriel Rodrigo (Kom- merling Honda), over the line in much less time than it takes to read their names. Dalla Porta has 184 points, then Canet (182), Arbolino (155), support group. "I had to push hard from the beginning," said Canet, who received a midrace track-limits warning, "because the KTM couldn't fight the other bikes on the straight. I had to push and keep the rhythm." Lorenzo Dalla Porta (Leopard Honda) still leads overall, but by just two points after placing 10th, while Tony Arbolino (Snipers Honda) had dropped back into in the same group in 11th. Then a second successive track-limits penalty for Dalla Porta meant they swapped positions. Another highlight was a victory in a huge and highly heated battle for second by Japanese rookie Ai Ogura (Idemitsu Honda), the 18-year-old's first podium. Aron Canet took a rare runaway win in Moto3, putting himself right back into title contention. He's just two points out of first place.
