Lee, aboard his Franklin Ar- mory/Graves Kawasaki, started from the pole, but then the race was red-flagged and had to be restarted. Despite the drama, Lee stayed in front and kept his closest title rival Stefano Mesa (Mesa37 Racing Kawasaki) behind him. Corey Alexander (Ride HVMC Freeman Racing Ka- wasaki) gave Lee everything he could handle, and Lee crossed the finish line a scant 0.145 of a second ahead of Alexander in second. Mesa finished third for a Kawasaki podium sweep. Dominic [Doyle] and Damian [Ji- galov], I think it was. Then me and Jackson just rode together. Then, on the last lap, I saw Kevin went by me and then highsided, and I was like, 'That sucks.' Then I just tried to get the draft and see what I could do with that, and I pulled it off and got the championship." Eziah Davis (Hunter Dunham Racing) ended up finishing third, making it an all-Kawasaki podium. Landers celebrated the cham- pionship with another win, his 12th of the season, on Sunday this time by more than seven sec- onds over Damian Jigalov (Quar- terly Racing/On Track Develop- ment Kawasaki). Third place went to Kevin Olmedo (Altus Motors- ports Kawasaki) for a Kawasaki Team Green podium sweep. Junior Cup Rocco Landers (Ninja400R. com/Norton Motorsports/Dr. Farr Kawasaki) clinched the Liqui Moly Junior Cup Championship on Saturday after edging out Jackson Blackmon (Monkey- Moto/AGVSport/Blud Lubricants Kawasaki) for the win. It was Landers' 11th win of the season, which is the most wins accumu- lated in one season for any Junior Cup rider in MotoAmerica history. "In the beginning [of the race], I was just trying to get a good first lap and try to see if I could get away, and I couldn't," Landers said. "I looked back and Jackson was there. He got by me. I was like, 'So what's going to happen?' Then I looked back, and I had a few seconds on [Kevin] Olmedo and With still one race on the schedule, Andrew Lee successfully defended his number- one plate by winning the Stock 1000 class.
