FLAT TRACK AMERICAN FL AT TRACK CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS 15 & 16/AUGUST 31 & SEPTEMBER 2, 2019 ILLINOIS STATE FAIRGROUNDS/SPRINGFIELD, ILLINOIS P74 inside of his target, made the pass and pulled away. Dallas Daniels (Estenson Rac- ing/Monster Energy, Yamaha YZ450F) passed Bromley on lap 15, and that seemed to light a fire under the defending class cham- pion, as Bromley shot from fourth to second in one lap. A lap later, Daniels dropped Cose to fourth, and the final order was set. Rush held on to fourth over rookie Brandon Kitchen (Donley Excavating/B&B Cycles/Bryan Bi- gelow, Honda CRF450R), who's sixth-place finish was his personal best. Ryan Wells (Estenson Rac- ing/Monster Energy, Yamaha YZ450F), Oliver Brindley (Roof- Systems of Dallas, TX/Fox Solu- tions, Yamaha YZ450F), Ferran Cardus and Jacob Lehmann (Vince and Denise Holt/Ridemo- torsports, Honda CR450R) filled the top 10. The intense race saw all 17 rid- ers finish on the lead lap. CN It sucks that he had to break again." Johncox was a solid third with Cory Texter, and Morgen Mis- chler just behind. Ryan Varnes held off Jordan Harris (RRCF Racing/S&J Coal, Kawasaki Ninja 650) for sixth. Ben Lowe was all alone in eighth, while Oliver Brindley (Roof-Systems of Dallas, TX/Fox Solutions, Ka- wasaki Ninja 650) was the last rider to finish when Chad Cose dropped out on the final lap. FRIDAY SPRINGFIELD SHORT TRACK With a heavy dose of sideways action, flying dirt and 13-second lap times, the AFT Singles short track rarely disappoints. This year's version was no different. Chad Cose (Ritchie Reynolds Racing/American Suzuki, Suzuki RM-Z 450) got the holeshot and led the first 11 laps of the 20-lap main event. Dan Bromley (Red Bull KTM Factory Racing/Roof- Systems of Dallas, TX, KTM 450 SX-F) held down second with Gauthier, Ferran Cardus (Bullet Strong Racing/Vanilla Racing, Honda CRF450R), and Mikey Rush (RMR Honda/Red Riders, Honda CRF 450R) right behind. Gauthier stalked the leaders from the third position until he was able to go around Bromley on the outside in turn four on lap six. He then set his sights on Cose who had started to pull away. On lap 12, Gauthier, once again, made his move in turn four. This time he drove to the Colby Carlile won Monday's Production Twins final. AFT TWINS SATURDAY 1. Jared Mees (Ind) 2.
