Roczen To Race Red Bull Straight
Rhythm
K
en Roczen says he's going
to race the Red Bull Straight
Rhythm at the Fairplex in Pomo-
na, California, October 5.
The race is for two-stroke
motorcycles only, so he plans to
race a 2006 Honda CR250R,
and not just any CR250R but the
same CR250R, that Jeremy Mc-
Grath raced when he was with
Team Honda. The bike is said
to be the last two-stroke ever to
grab a holeshot in a supercross
main event. That happened at
the Phoenix AMA Supercross in
2006.
Roczen said on Instagram:
"…we have some more winning
to do on this machine…"
Cooper Webb and Cole Seely
have said they are in, as well. CN
Redding, Ducati
Confirmed In WorldSBK
T
wenty-six-year-old Scott Redding is now confirmed as the rid-
ing partner of Chaz Davies inside the official Aruba.it Ducati
WorldSBK team for the 2020 season, an outcome that has seemed
inevitable for some time.
The two-time MotoGP podium finisher, nearly
Moto2 Champion in 2013, and multiple BSB race
winner in this his rookie season said, "I'm so
happy to join the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team,
which is something that I've wanted for a long
time because to be able to work with a team that
can fight for a world title is really a great opportu-
nity for me. Obviously, now I have to remain fully
focused on the British Superbike Championship
because I want to try and win that title with the
Be Wiser Ducati before stepping back up to a
world championship again."
The 2020 season will be Redding's first in
WorldSBK. CN
Ken Roczen says
he's going to race
Jeremy McGrath's
2006 Honda
CR250R in the
upcoming Red Bull
Straight Rhythm.
