IN THE WIND P28 G rant Baylor is on fire. And at the last two rounds of the 2019 Kenda AMA National Enduro Cham- pionship, no one has been able to put him out. After winning the Little Raccoon National En- duro in Wellston, Ohio, August 25, the Tely Energy Racing KTM rider now has back-to-back wins and three wins in the last four rounds. But even more impressive, he's won all six tests in the previous two rounds. That's 12 test wins in a row! No doubt a national enduro first. Grant took control of this weekend's race by winning the opening test of the day by six seconds ahead of his brother and teammate Steward Baylor. Grant would stretch his lead with each successive test until he finished the race with a 1:30.312-minute advantage over Steward for the win. Grant Baylor Dominates Little Raccoon National Enduro "I couldn't ask for a better day," said Grant. "It was a little slippery in places, and you had to be on your toes and be careful and just be ready for when the front end goes to wash. But I didn't hit the ground all day until the last test. I went down one time in the last test and won every test today. So, it was another awesome weekend." Steward has been solid and fast, finishing second in three of the last four rounds, with a win two rounds ago in Georgia. He still holds a 36-point lead in the series standings with four rounds remaining, but with his brother running away with the rounds, his primary focus has switched to the championship. "I could have been a little more aggressive, but at the same time Grant Baylor won all 12 tests en route to the overall win at the Little Racoon National Enduro in Ohio.
