aving won the Red Bull Romaniacs just
two weeks before, German hard enduro
ace Manuel Lettenbichler came into this
year's Kenda Tennessee Knockout riding an
impressive wave of momentum. The Red Bull
KTM rider finished second to six-time winner
Cody Webb at last year's TKO, and he was
dead set on bettering that position by one in
2019, in addition to extending his streak of
hard enduro wins. However, to do so, "Letti"
would have to beat out some of the best
extreme racers in the world, including factory
Sherco teammates Mario Roman of Spain and
South African Wade Young, who won Red Bull
Romaniacs in 2018. Unfortunately, American
rider Cody Webb was forced to sit out this
year's event due to a knee injury.
