IIIMY OWN RACE:
I tried to get the thro le on. It took
me out wide in the grassy berm. I was
trying to race him and not flip the thing
over backward. I was having some
problems coming off turn four. We had
to make the wheelbase longer so that
I could manage it a li le more. I was
giving up a li le grip, but I needed to
be smooth."

"Lapped traffic got in the mix," said
Jared Mees. "I just started struggling
really bad coming into the last corner.
I had headshake going into the corner
bad. We had problems ge ng through
three and four all day. We changed the
bike upside down and just couldn't
make it happen. We'll fight back for
Springfield."
