level. I'm star ng to find something
now with my season halfway through,
and we are rolling with it. He sprinted
away from me pre y quick. He had
the track down pat. I felt really strong,
but a er about four or five laps with
him pulling away, I just gave a sigh of
relief. I took a look back and saw that
I had some room. I decided to bring it
home safe in second instead of trying
to push and cartwheel motorcycles. I
pulled the holeshot. Briar passed me
and gave me a li le wave down the
front straightaway. I actually passed
him back on lap two or three. I got
to wave back to him down the front
straightaway. That felt pre y good to
do it to him."
JD Beach (95) got around Robert Pearson to get on the Peoria TT podium.
AFT SINGLES
The AFT Singles class continues
to produce surprises. This time
it was 16-year-old Dallas Daniels
(Estenson Racing/Monster Ener-
gy, Yamaha YZ450F) topping the
ultra-competitive class. Daniels,
making only his fifth start since
turning 16, took the lead on lap
three and was never challenged
after that.
Sturgis TT winner Ryan Sipes
(Red Bull/Leatt/KTM, KTM 450
SX-F) led defending AFT Singles
Champion Dan Bromley (Red
Bull KTM Factory Racing/Roof-
Systems of Dallas, TX, KTM 450
SX-F) into the first turn with Jesse
Janisch (Roof-Systems of Dallas,
TX/Yamaha, Yamaha YZ450F)
and James Rispoli (Vance &
Hines/My Digital.com, Honda
CRF450R) tucked in right behind.
Bromley rolled around the out-
side while Daniels sliced through
the field. Daniels ran Bromley
down and pulled away. Jesse
Janisch, who has three wins in
the last four Peoria TT races, was
harassing Bromley.
