home circuit, a venue he's been
near invincible at in recent years.

bike Championship at Sonoma,
taking a second place in race
one behind winner Garrett Ger-
loff (Monster Energy Yamaha)
but spectacularly crashing out in
race two.
Despite this, he only lost five
points in total in the champion-
ship standings to chief rival, pole
sitter Cameron Beaubier (Mon-
ster Energy Yamaha), who also
had a DNF to his name when he
