MOTOCROSS LUCAS OIL/AMA PRO MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP ROUND 10 / AUGUST 10, 2019 UNADILL A VALLEY SPORTS CENTER / NEW BERLIN, NEW YORK P60 shot at this point, he knows from experience that he should never give up. Remember, the 2019 250SX West title was a longshot at the Las Vegas series finale, too, and Cianciarulo put one wheel just a little bit wrong, and that gave Ferrandis the title. Ferrandis was going to win the race regard- less, but it was putting himself in that position that IIIMY OWN RACE: a good start in moto two as well but went down on the opening lap while trying to make some passes. He ended up 10th that moto. 16 ZACH OSBORNE 3RD 450MX (4-4) Zach Osborne (Rockstar Energy Husqvar- na) returned to the podium at Unadilla a er res ng his injured collarbone on the weekend off. "I felt really good today," Osborne said. "The track was excep on- ally gnarly. It's always pre y gnarly, but that was the hardest I've ever ridden it, so I'm really happy to come away safe. It's been a tough road back from injury, so to get on the podium feels real nice." 23 CHASE SEXTON 3RD 250MX (3-3) It was easy to see that Geico Honda's Chase Sexton had returned to the form he had early in the season. However, ever since suffering heatstroke at the Florida Na onal, it's put a significant damper on his series. But he got back up on the box at Unadilla. "These guys are going really fast," Sexton said. "As you can see, they've been the two standouts this year, and it's nice to race with them. I wanted to pass AC and get up to Dylan, but I got close to AC, and then he kind of just sprinted away from me. These guys, they don't get red, that's for sure." in need of a teammate for Roc- zen. There's talk that Honda might bring Justin Brayton on board for a supercross-only deal. (He's already contracted with Honda for two more years with the Smartop/Bullfrog Spas/Honda Motoconcepts team). This could work out for Honda if they want to sign Chase Sexton and/or Jeremy Martin, who both plan on moving to the 450MX class in 2021. MORE SILLY SEASON Rumor has it that Cameron McAdoo is going to Pro Circuit, even though there was talk earlier on that he was going to TLD KTM for 2020. This leaves a hole at TLD, which it sounds like might be filled by CycleTrader/ Rock River Yamaha's Brandon Har- tranft. Joey Savatgy lost his spot at Kawasaki now that the team is signing AC, and it sounds like he might be going to JGR Suzuki, pitting along- side Chad Reed indoors and Freddy Noren outdoors, while Noren races the 250cc class for JGR on one of the coasts indoors. Savatgy took a chance on a one-year deal at Kawa- saki, and it didn't pan out, so he might prioritize a multi-year agreement over a one-year deal at Honda, or some- thing similar. KTM and Husqvarna 450cc teams are solid, with defend- ing Supercross champ Cooper Webb and Marvin Musquin staying at KTM (Musquin signed through 2021), and Husqvarna fielding Dean Wilson Briefly... Tomac (1) seemed to play it safe on the tricky Unadilla track, while Zach Osborne (16) pulled out the stops for third overall.
