When the checkered flag came

end as they crossed the finish line
under the proverbial blanket.
Kevin Stollings (Roof-Systems of
Dallas, TX/Motion Pro, Kawasaki
Ninja 650) was fifth as class points
leader Cory Texter (G&G Racing/
Holeshot Powersports, Yamaha
MT-07) held off Kolby Carlile (Es-
tenson Racing/Monster Energy,
Yamaha MT-07) for sixth. CN

ing/Monster Energy, Yamaha
YZ450F) just edged out defend-
ing class champion Dan Bromley

AFT PRODUCTION
TWINS
American Flat Track's newest
class, the AFT Production Twins,
is only run on Half Miles and
Miles. So it was back on the
schedule for the fifth time.
JR Addison (Smith-Addison
Racing/J&F Construction, Ka-
wasaki Ninja 650) got the hole-
shot in the 15-lap main event and
led for two laps. Ryan Varnes
(Varnes Racing/RoyBuilt/Don's
Kawasaki, Kawasaki Ninja 650)
recovered from a slow start mov-
ing from fifth to first in two laps.
Varnes then proceeded to
gap the field, increasing his lead
to over two seconds by lap 10.
While Varnes made it look easy,
a war broke out over second.
Addison was caught by James
something completely different than
those guys (Carver and Bronson). I was
riding quite a bit higher. I was carrying
more momentum and had good corner
speed. I was able to track them down,
and we all tracked Briar down. I don't
know if his re was star ng to go or
whatever. I don't know if he heated it
up too much or whatever. I didn't get a
very good start on the restart that killed
me. My re probably cooled off a li le
too much for me. At about four laps to
go, my re started to come back. At that
point, the wri ng was on the wall."
