The defending AFT Singles Champion, Bromley, made a charge from fifth to first in turn three, but in the process moved his teammate off the groove. She dropped to fifth as the pack received the white flag. Turn four to the finish line would settle the race and Texter positioned herself perfectly, drafting past every- one for the win. "I definitely got pushed off the groove a little bit, unfortunately by my teammate," said Texter. "I didn't see that coming, so that elevated my heart rate a little bit coming to that white-flag lap. I just put it in so hard into three and got myself in a really good posi- tion. I then got a draft off these guys into the lead." Rush and Avery were also able to draft Bromley, who held on to a close estly say that they are the new king because they didn't beat him. They will be scratching their head and wondering what if Henry was here? If he comes back and races next weekend, obviously he is going to be pretty banged up. Hopefully, he is okay." STILL LEADING Points leaders in all three classes maintained their leads. Briar Bau- man's AFT Twins points are at 27 over Jared Mees. Bronson Bau- man sits third 55 points down. AFT Singles is still led by Dalton Gauth- ier, but only by seven over defend- ing class champion, Dan Bromley. Mikey Rush is another three back. Cory Texter leads AFT Production Twins. He also has a 27-point lead over Ryan Varnes with Kolby Carlile another 16 back. Briefly... Bryan Smith (4) led for a bit but struggled to hook up and slipped back.
