IIIMY OWN RACE:
20 JAROD VANDERKOOI
5TH AFT TWINS
"I caught the dirt berm on the inside of turn
one and ripped by my rear brake lever back.
I had some difficulty hi ng neutral a er
that. I don't know what happened," said
Jarod Vanderkooi. "The track kind of changed
from the semi to the main event. On the first
couple laps, Jake checked out on me, and I
was holding Jared and JD up a li le bit. I tried
ge ng in my groove and to put a couple of
bike lengths on them. They built the berm up;
it's just one of those things. It's be er than
res or hay bales or something that could be
knocked out onto the track. We hit it once in
prac ce, and once in the main. Didn't learn
my lesson, I guess."
