Duvall Doubles Up At Grays Harbor WORCS

NCC veteran Thad Duvall (Rockstar Energy Husqvarna)
made the 2600-mile trip west from his hometown of William-
stown, West Virginia, pay off by sweeping the Pro portion of the
WORCS motorcycle weekend at Grays Harbor ORV Park. The
second part of the doubleheader event was round eight, and the
latest of the Rocky Mountain ATV-MC WORCS Series, Present-
ed by Polaris RZR and Dirt Bike. Duvall derailed Taylor Robert's
win streak in the WORCS Series a few days earlier when he
won the first race of the doubleheader, Tuesday, July 30. In that
race, Duvall came from behind to beat out Robert for the overall
win by nearly 30 seconds. Ricky Russell was a distant third.
Austin Walton outdueled Cooper Abbott for the Pro 2-class
win, as did Mateo Oliveira over Seven Diaz in Pro 2 Lites. (Click

The weeklong event marked the first time WORCS had visited
the eastern Washington facility in four years. The circuit mean-
dered through tight woods trails and featured plenty of elevation
change. Along with two Pro sections used during the first round
at the venue, officials also added a single-track downhill section
that made for a nail-biting crawl in the slick conditions.
In Saturday's Pro race, August 3, points leader Robert took the
lead at the start on his FMF/KTM, but Duvall was quickly on his
